Seven More Games Arrive For The NVIDIA SHIELD

When it comes to Android TV, the gaming experience is becoming as integral to the product as video content is. This is not surprising though, as Android TV devices become more powerful and capable, the ability to indulge in more advanced gaming becomes more possible. Right now, the NVIDIA SHIELD is the best Android TV device on the market for gaming. The SHIELD comes loaded with the ability to play all the games currently compatible with Android TV and available through Google Play, as well as an abundance of additional SHIELD-only games available through the SHIELD Hub. Not to mention, NVIDIA routinely announce a number of games which have been optimized to make use of the Tegra X1 processor that comes inside the SHIELD.

Well, NVIDIA Have today announced seven more games that SHIELD owners can download from the Play Store and play. Some of these titles are already available for Android devices, while some of also already been updated to be compatible with Android TV devices in general. However, if you want the best out of your gameplay and know what’s the latest games that have been optimized to take advantage of the Tegra X1 processor, then here is a quick rundown.

The first of the latest compatible games is This World of Mine, which is also the most expensive of the announced titles and will currently set you back $14.99. This is a war themed game, but one in which you play as the civilians having to deal with the effects of war. Other games available include Killing Floor: Calamity and Windward, which are both priced at $9.99. These two are the newest in terms of their compatibility with Android TV, although if you often play PC titles, then you might be already familiar with both. Pure Pool is next on the list and is available for $5.23. This is one of the games which is already available on the Play Store, although sees its compatibility for the NVIDIA SHIELD update arriving today. The other games noted are FlyHunter: Origins (which will set you back $2.97), Xenowerk (which will set you back $0.99) and Twin Runners 2 (which will set you back $2.49). All of these were previously available on the Play Store, although, you can enjoy them on your NVIDIA SHIELD too.
