There are lots of ways to get your weather information on your smartphone these days. There are literally tons of different apps and widgets which can provide all the useful data you could possibly need. Weather 360 + Widgets & Clocks is a great example not only having plenty of options to customize the data you see, but also offering quite the selection of style options as well. The app itself is a fully functional weather app with plenty of material design literally dripping from every inch, but you also get a collection of different sized widgets to place on the homescreen too.
Before you can see what all the fuss is about, you’ll need to download and install Weather 360 + Widgets & Clocks from the Play Store.
It’s become quite the norm it seems to introduce users to the application and what it delivers the very first time you open it up, and Weather 360 is no different here. As soon as you open it for the first time you’re greeted with a handful of pages you can swipe through to see all the highlighted features of what it offers. You can also skip right past this if you wish but it’s a nice touch.
You’ll notice right from the start that Weather 360 is very visually appealing. There is loads of material design within the app with plenty of colors that pop off screen and great animations to make the app feel more lively. It’s very stylish and eye catching, and the smart weather animations are a big part of this.
When you open Weather 360 you’re presented with the main home screen which shows you the current information like the temperature and the weather type, (clear, sunny, cloudy etc.) as well as other data like humidity, wind, precipitation and real feel.
You also have screens you can slide through for the daily forecast and the weekly forecast if you want to see things at a glance from further out.
The app also has a persistent lock screen notification so if all you need is the current weather temp, you can easily hit the power button on your device to wake the display and check it quickly without the need to unlock the phone and open up the app.
The slide out hamburger menu is where you go to add new locations, check your locations that are already listed, and find the settings and other useful tips. There’s also a widget center and a link to the store where you can buy new widget themes, clocks, and the full version of the app to remove the ads and get all features.
The widgets are fairly customizable with the free version too, so even if you decide not to purchase other theme options you’ll still have a handful of choices.
You can alter things like the look of the clock, the weather icons, and the color scheme of the widget background where you can select from a list of premade color pallets or you can toggle advanced where you can customize every little details yourself.
You can also tap on the widget to select an action for what happens when you tap on it every time, like bringing up the full weather information, setting an alarm or changing the weather settings.

When you get right down to it, Weather 360 has a lot to offer. Those who like to customize will love the theme store as well as the free customization options, and it feels like everything was carefully thought out. I personally love the weather information in the notification panel, however not all users will want this which is why it was nice to see that you can turn this option off. The app looks great, it runs great, and you can make it personal. What’s not to like? If you enjoy having a weather app with available widgets, you should give Weather 360 + Widgets & Clocks a try.
