Ulefone is not exactly a high-profile Chinese smartphone manufacturer, but this company has been releasing some rather compelling smartphones lately. The company’s current flagship, the Be Touch 2, is a solid smartphone, and its price is also quite interesting. The company is said to be working on a similar device with a significantly bigger battery as well, but that’s not what we’re here to talk about. We’re here to discuss the Ulefone Paris, a device which has leaked a couple of times already. Well, our source at the company sent us a couple of images of the device, along with its specs, read on.
The Ulefone Paris will feature a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). The device will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core SoC, and will sport a 2,250mAh battery on the inside. It is actually rather interesting to see that Ulefone opted for such a small battery, let’s hope the battery life won’t suffer because of it. The Ulefone Paris will also sport a 13-megapixel shooter on the back, and a 5-megapixel snapper up front. Interesting enough, Ulefone has even included the LED notification light this time around, something that wasn’t present on the Ulefone Be Touch 2. According to the available info, this device will be made out of metal and glass, so you can expect it to feel premium in the hand.
If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll be able to see the Ulefone Paris in the flesh. The overall construction reminds us of Be Touch (metal trim), but the two devices aren’t exactly that similar. The Ulefone Paris, unlike Be Touch 2, won’t sport a physical home button below the display, but a capacitive button. The aforementioned capacitive key is actually round, which reminds us of ZTE’s and some Meizu-branded devices. Both the power and volume rocker physical keys are located on the right-hand side of this device, and the 3.5mm headphones jack is available up top, as you can see. We still don’t know how much will this device cost, so stay tuned for that.
