A number of Huawei-branded devices leaked in the last couple of weeks. Mate7 Plus, Mate8 and Honor 7i were all mentioned, and same can be said about the mysterious Huawei-branded device which will sport a curved display up front. As a side note, Huawei has already announced a number of high-end devices, including a bunch of smartphone made out of metal, a premium tablet offeirngs, and the company’s Android Wear-powered smartwatch, the Huawei Watch. Well, another Huawei-branded handset has just been certified in China, let’s see what it has to offer.
If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the CRR-UL00 handset, a possible Mate7 Plus, Mate8 or Mate (7)S device. All three of these names have been mentioned in the past, so we really don’t know which device is this, but at least we know its model number. Anyhow, as you can see, this device is made out of metal and it sports a fingerprint scanner on the back, and it resembles the Huawei Mate7 phablet which was launched last year, that’s for sure. The Mate7 was one of the best devices of last year, and certainly one of the better looking ones. The TENAA listing didn’t really reveal this handset’s specifications, but you can expect its display to be at least 5.7-inches and to sport a 1080p resolution. Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 935 64-bit octa-core SoC will quite probably fuel this phone, and a 13+MP camera will be located on the inside.

Huawei has been doing really well as far as smartphone sales go for quite some time now, and according to the leaks we’ve seen recently, the company still has a lot of firepower this year. The mysterious ‘007’ handset with a curved display is arguably the most interesting one out of the bunch, but the Mate-branded phablet which was certified is definitely something that many Mate7 sympathizers will consider purchasing.
