Zeblaze is a Chinese company which has announced a rather interesting smartwatch a while back, the Zeblaze Rover. That watch is actually made out of metal and costs $50-60, which is not all that much, you can even find it significantly discounted if you look hard enough. That being said, the company has been teasing another smartwatch for quite some time now, the Zeblaze Crystal. Well, the watch is now official, read on.
The Zeblaze Crystal actually resembles the Asus’ ZenWatch a whole lot, which doesn’t’ have to be a bad thing at all considering that’s a very well-designed smartwatch. Anyhow, the Zeblaze Crystal features a 1.54-inch TP3D single curved display, and is powered by MediaTek’s MTK2502 SoC. This watch’s display has a viewing angle of 150 degrees according to the company, and also sports IP65 certification for water and dust resistance. The watch is made out of metal, and sports a rather regular industrial design, which makes it rather sleek looking overall.

The first video will let you take a closer look at the watch, and also showcases the ability to change watch straps. The second clip, however, shows off some functions on the watch itself. The third video showcases Zeblaze Crystal’s waterproof capabilities, and the heartrate monitor which is also a part of this package. The Zeblaze Crystal isn’t powered by Android or Android Wear, but is running a third-party OS which Zeblaze decided to include here. The watch will be available in a couple of color combinations, and the Gold + White color combo is showcased in the three videos. That being said, these two combinations will probably be the only ones available, but as mentioned before, you can change the bands on the watch, which opens all sorts of combinations.
The Zeblaze Crystal is available for pre-order on a number of Chinese resellers at the moment until August 20th. The watch costs $54.99 at the moment, though the price might go slightly up after the pre-order period is over.
