AH Weekly Poll: Will You Buy The Nexus 6P Or The Nexus 5X?

Google’s official event comes up next week, and it’s heavily expected that they’ll be showing off quite a few things, including the two new Nexus smartphones for this year. Both devices are now known as the Huawei Nexus 6P and the LG Nexus 5X. Although the rumors had already pegged these as the names earlier this month, it would now seem these names are confirmed and official thanks to earlier leaks of the retail packaging for both phones. The packaging leak also allowed us to learn that each device will come in a 32GB model, while also likely coming with a 64GB option like last year’s Nexus 6 made by Motorola.

Each device is also seemingly coming in multiple color options, although they will both likely have different specs with the Nexus 6P being the higher-end of the two. It’s been rumored the Nexus 6P will come equipped with 3GB of RAM and come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, while the Nexus 5X has been rumored to come with 2GB of RAM, and come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor instead and as seen inside of the LG G4, LG’s flagship device for this year. In terms of prices or an actual release date, these are still unknown but shouldn’t be too far off if the announcement for both happens at the event next week. Both the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X should also come running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and be the first two devices to ship with the new version of the software. The question is, which one will you or would you buy? The Huawei Nexus 6P or the LG Nexus 5X?
