Earlier this year, GoPro announced a new camera in the Hero4 Session. It’s the smallest camera the company has ever made and it’s literally just a cube. Unlike the Hero4, it does not do 4K, but it does do 1080p at 60 frames per second. GoPro doesn’t have a full display or viewfinder either. It’s sorta like the RE Camera from HTC, where you just point and shoot. There is also just one button. Which is used for starting video and stopping it. It’s a really neat camera, and great for capturing adventures. Currently the GoPro Hero4 Session is on sale for $399 from their website. It’s also only available in black. It actually looks better than GoPro’s other models, but their cameras aren’t made to look pretty, as they are meant for going places you wouldn’t take your DSLR.
We got a demo of how the Hero4 Session works with the app. While the demo was on the iPhone, it does work exactly the same with the Android app. As well as holding the Hero4 Session in hand, and you can see exactly how small this thing is. It’s pretty unreal. You can check it all out in the gallery down below.
