Hands On: with JBL's Boost TV at IFA 2015

JBL is one of those manufacturers of speakers and headphones that everyone just loves. They’ve been in the news a lot this year, as they’ve worked with Alcatel OneTouch on the Idol 3 as well as ZTE on their AXON Pro smartphone. And now at IFA, they have a ton of new products to show off. One of those is the Boost TV. As JBL puts it, the Boost TV is “the smallest way to get Big Sound from a TV”. Yes, it’s a TV speaker system. The Boost TV is the first system that allows users to seamlessly switch between the sound on the TV, and to the sound of a tablet or smartphone. So you can use this for your smartphone, tablet and TV, of course not all at the same time. For audiophiles, this is a must have speaker for your TV, as well as for your smartphone and tablet or any other device you have lying around the house.

It’s going to be available this October for about $199.95. It’ll be available globally from jbl.com as well as the usual retailers carrying JBL’s products. We got a chance to go hands on with JBL’s Boost TV here at IFA this week, and check out how amazing the Boost TV really is.
