Hands-On With The Newly Released LG Rolly Keyboard

LG has unveiled a number of products last month, including the LG G Pad 2 8.0 and 10.1, and the company’s Bluetooth keyboard, the LG Rolly. We’ve already talked about each of these products, but LG has brought them all to IFA in Berlin which is taking place as we speak, and we managed to spend some time with these products. In case you’d like to check out our hands-on coverage of the LG G Pad 2 10.1, click here. That being said, we’re here to take a look at the LG Rolly Keyboard, a rather interesting product.

As its name says, this keyboard is rollable. What exactly does that mean? Well, we’ve seen a number of rollable keyboards out there, but this is something different. You can roll this keyboard into a shape of a small stick, which you can basically put anywhere you want, including your pocket. Because of this ‘feature’, this keyboard is quite portable and very convenient if you’re constantly moving from one point to another. The keyboard has a 17mm key pitch (compared to 18mm key pitch you can find on most desktops), and is made out of impact-resistant polycarbonate and ABS plastic.

The keyboard uses Bluetooth 3.0 to connect to the device you’d like to use it with, and it is powered by one AAA battery which should be able to keep it running for up to three months according to LG (average use). This keyboard will be coming to the US in September, and Europe, Asia and Latin America will get it in Q4 this year. That’s more or less it, if you’re interested in taking a closer look at the keyboard, check out the gallery below this article.
