Here at IFA, ZTE has a few devices that we don’t typically see here in North America. One of those being the Nubia Z9. The Nubia Z9 houses a 5.2-inch 1080p display, sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Powered by a 2900mAh battery inside. It’s also running on Android Lollipop with ZTE’s own custom UI on top, which we’ve seen before. It’s available in both gold and black, and we got a chance to go hands on with both colors in Berlin today.
Now the Nubia Z9 was announced as coming to the US, we’re not sure what happened there. But the company opted to bring their new brand AXON over to the US. Which we are pretty big fans of. But the red and black Nubia Z9 here would definitely look good on store shelves here in North America.
The ZTE Nubia Z9 is a great looking device, especially with that red circle on the home button. Similar to what we have on the AXON Pro that is available here in the US, although it’s white and not red. In the gallery below, you’ll find plenty of images of the ZTE Nubia Z9.
