Hands-On With The Zolt USB Charger

Charging has become a part of our daily lives. We charge our smartphones, our laptops, our other mobile devices, our smartwatches and wearables, our controllers, our toothbrushes, and plenty of other devices now a days. For most of these things you can pick up a USB multi-port charger and charge them all, for the mobile devices at least. The issue with laptop chargers is they can be big and bulky but the Zolt USB charger solves this issue. Zolt showed this off at IFA this week and we got some hands-on time with it and it’s actually a pretty cool little product.

It’s a small, yet portable and light charger that carries a few USB ports so you can not only plug the charger into your laptop, but you can plug in a couple USB cables if you have one or two more devices that need charging along with the laptop. It sports a little prong on the bottom to be plugged into the wall, then you can use the included 6 ft. USB cable to plug in your laptop and use the other two ports for plugging in your mobile devices, or you could simply use it to charge three mobile devices if you need to. It’s also quite versatile and eliminates any worry of taking up outlets as you can turn it 90 degrees to free up outlet space. It supports most major PC brands and is even compatible with at least the Dell Chromebook, and there’s a handy little compatibility checker on their website so you can determine if it works with your laptop model or not. It comes in a few stylish colors and the outside is a brushed scratch-resistant finish, and puts out a voltage of 110V to 240V. The Zolt is currently available for pre-order for $99.99 and you can find them on Amazon, and they’re due to launch October 27th.
