Khan Academy Lets You Learn Virtually Anything For Free

As we grow older many of us may no longer attend school, but as human beings we never have to stop learning. A new app called Khan Academy aims to help anyone continue to learn virtually anything they want by using the free app. This is all about education, and even though it’s free, Khan Academy is also free of any in-app purchases so you can rest assured you’re getting all of the features intended to be of use, and you won’t be bombarded with suggestions to purchase any bundles or packs of anything. No matter what you want to learn, Khan Academy can likely help you.

It features a collection of over 10,000 videos on tons of various topics from mathematics, science, economics and finance, arts and humanities, computing, test prep, and more. Once you select one of those main categories you can break things down even further into smaller sub-categories like history or music, physics, chemistry, macroeconomics, or even multivariable calculus. There are also varying levels of learning to cater to all ages, for example, in the math section you can view videos and learning help for early math which is geared towards those below the third grade.

Not sure exactly what you want to learn or where to find it? The app has a built-in search function that allows you to filter out and narrow down your results so you can more easily find what topics and categories you want, and once you find them you can add those videos into a personalized list so you can go back and access them from there instead of having to go track them down again. You can also set up a profile and track your learning progress so you can keep an eye on how well you’re doing. If you’re not able to finish what you’re studying in one session, the app easily syncs with your khan academy account online so you can pick up the learning from the exact same spot when you’re ready to begin again which should make things rather hassle free and feeling like there’s no pressure to get things done as quickly as possible. You can pick up the app from the Play Store to get started with learning some new things, or if you have kids this could also be a great tool for helping them learn different subjects as the app is meant to be of use to all ages.
