Google will launch new Nexus devices on September 29th, the company has already sent out invites for the event. It is almost certain at this point that the Mountain View giant intends to unveil both LG and Huawei Nexus devices at said event. We’ve been seeing tons of rumors and leaks over the last couple of weeks, and as the event is coming closer, we’re seeing more and more content all around the internet. That being said, we’re here to talk more about the LG Nexus 5X, as leaks are saying it will be called, read on.

The LG ‘Bullhead’ device surfaced on Geekbench, and that’s LG Nexus’ codename as far as we know, so we’re essentially looking at the upcoming LG Nexus 5X here. Anyhow, this listing confirms that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor, a chip which his also fueling LG’s current flagship, the G4, and Xiaomi’s recently unveiled Mi 4c smartphone.  This listing also confirms that the device will ship with 2GB of RAM included, which goes hand-in-hand with the recent info we’ve been seeing. Some earlier rumors suggested that the device will ship with 3GB of RAM on board, but it seems that won’t be the case. The LG Nexus 5X will definitely be the more affordable out of the two, and a real, direct successor to the original LG Nexus 5.

The LG ‘Bullhead’ score 1,000 points in the single-core, and 2,919 in the multi-core test on Geekbench. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is also mentioned here, but that was to be expected, both LG and Huawei Nexus devices will be the first devices to ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed. That’s all the info Geekbench listing shared this time around. According to previous leaks though, this smartphone will also ship with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and two front-facing stereo speakers. The fingerprint scanner will be located below the rear-facing camera, and next to it you’ll find the dual-LED, dual tone flash and a Laser Autofocus. Google will unveil this smartphone in 5 days, on September 29th, during the company’s Nexus event, stay tuned.
