Meizu NIUX Source Code & Wallpaper Leak, Exynos 7420 In Tow

Meizu’s Vice President, Li Nan, has recently admitted that the company is working on a premium device which will arrive in Q1 2016, and is not a part of the company’s ‘MX Pro’ line of devices. The ‘MX Pro’ line will become history in the future, and it is possible that we won’t see the MX5 Pro released this year either. Meizu has released their new flagship, the Meizu MX5, back in June, and it remains to be seen if they’ll announce another smartphone before the end of this year. Anyhow, the Meizu ‘NIUX‘ surfaced on AnTuTu about a week ago, and showed off its beastly specifications. Well, now we have some info info when it comes to this phone, read on.

According to @upleaks, the information surfaced on AnTuTu is correct. The leaker has shared source code info of the upcoming NIUX device, and it seems like the device will, indeed, be powered by the Exynos 7420 14nm 64-bit octa-core processor. The Meizu ‘NIUX’ will sport a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) display, according to the newly leaked info. AnTuTu listing did reveal that it will sport a 1080p display, but we didn’t know what size will that display be in the end, until now that is. Samsung’s Exynos 7420  SoC will fuel this phone, as already mentioned, and it seems like Meizu is getting ready to launch two variants of this device. The first variant will ship with 3GB of RAM, and the other one with 4GB of RAM on the inside. You can also expect this smartphone to sport a 21-megapixel camera on its back, and a 5-megapixel snapper up front. Android 5.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed on this device with Meizu’s Flyme 5.0 UI, at least according to the available info.

If you take a look at the second image in the gallery down below, you’ll also get to see the alleged Meizu ‘NIUX’ wallpaper which will ship on this smartphone. As per usual, take all this info with a grain of salt, this is a leak we’re talking about here after all. We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop as far as Meizu ‘NIUX’ rumors go, so stay tuned.
