Possible Nexus 5X Specs Appear on Amazon India

As is so often the case for each new year as we roll into the sleepier months of September and beyond, the Nexus dragon comes out the play. The first part of the dragon that we see are often the claws of the rumor mill, spilling out all sorts of secrets and leaks that may, or may not be true. While this is frustrating for those just looking forward to the launch, it can be an awful lot of fun to look ahead to what’s on the horizon and what’s just around the corner. This year, we’ve heard a whole lot about upcoming Nexus devices, and not just from one manufacturer, but two. Huawei and LG are to enjoy a sort of job share this year, and today Amazon India might have revealed more than they should have about the upcoming LG Nexus 5X.

As PhoneArena have discovered, the listing on Amazon India lists an LG device with the model number of H791, which does sound similar to the LG G4’s H815 that was used earlier this year. A 5.2-inch 1080p display is listed alongside a ‘1.8GHz Qualcomm MSM8992 hexa core processor’ which we safely say is a Snapdragon 808. This is said to be backed up by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. A 2,700 mAh battery is listed here, and it seems as though this listing on Amazon appears to confirm many of the previous leaks including a 12.3-megapixel rear-facing camera.

There is of course, a good chance that this was listed by not Amazon themselves but some other seller on the site, which could mean these specs aren’t completely final or correct. Still, to see them hit Amazon India so close to the September 29th launch is interesting and would suggest that these are the final specs, but we would take this with a grain of salt. Either way, next week when the new devices are launched, we’ll be covering all the news as soon as we get it, including in-depth coverage of each device on the day.
