There has been lots of debate recently about HTC. In fact, the whole of 2015 has seen the company undergo massive and consistent debate. While this first commenced with the (at the time) upcoming release of the HTC One M9, this was then followed by the debate of the One M9 after its release. Which in turn, was then followed by massive debate about the future of the company. Likewise and since then, debate has raged as to what device(s) the company would release next and whether or not they would make amends for the One M9 situation. Once HTC announced the launch of a September 29th event, debate then changed to what will be unveiled at the event.
At first, most indications were suggesting that the event would likely pave the way for the unveiling of the HTC One A9. A device which is currently well in the middle of its speculative period and one which is thought by some, to be the next HTC flagship device. In fact, it was only thing morning when the latest leaked image appeared online. However, recent separate reports have also emerged suggesting that the two devices expected to be unveiled at the event would be an updated HTC One M9+ and a HTC Butterfly 3 updated device. Therefore, leading the assumption that the One A9 would not make an appearance at all.
Well, it now seems to be increasingly unlikely that the One A9 will make an appearance at the September 29th event. In fact, a tweet sent out today by known mobile reporter, @Ricciolo, now suggests that HTC will unveil the One A9 at a separate event in October. According to the tweet, the One A9 (or “Aero” as it is otherwise currently known) will be unveiled in a “US major event“, one which will include multiple cities and one which will see a prolonged marketing campaign in the build up to the event. As such, if you had been waiting on the One A9 to finally arrive then it looks like the wait will come to an end sometime in October and by the sounds of it, there will be plenty of warning thanks to the large marketing plan HTC are reported to be undertaking prior to the launch.
