Today, Runtastic is announcing the Runtastic Moment, a new wearable that combines the qualities of a traditional watch with the functionality of a modern fitness tracker. Runtastic designed their Runtastic Moment to satisfy everybody’s taste with four unique design categories, different size watch faces, types of bands and colors. Simply download the Runtastic Me app and sync your smartphone with your Runtastic Moments and turn your mild-mannered looking watch into a comprehensive fitness tracker. This announcement comes on the heels of Runtastic’s other announcement that they were acquired by the Adidas Group for $240 million.

The Runtastic Moment looks like an analog watch that allows users to track their Steps & Distance, Active Minutes, Calories Burned, Sleep Cycles and your Goals. A normal watch battery powers Runtastic, so no charging is required. However, even with the option of replacing your battery, it is still waterproof up to 300 feet so you can safely swim, dive or shower while wearing your Runtastic Moment.
What is so nice about the Runtastic Moment is that they know how diverse people and their tastes in watches can be, so they designed ten unique looking smartwatches that fall into four categories. One size simply does not fit all – some people want more of a fitness tracker, others are interested in monitoring their sleep while others just want to see how far they walk each day. Some wearers want a traditional looking timepiece and others want wild colors and a more playful look.
The four categories described by Runtastic are the Runtastic Moment Fun – Boasting a stainless steel case, scratch-resistant glass and a comfortable silicon strap, the Moment Fun was designed for the playful, active types. It is available in four colors – raspberry, plum, sand and indigo – for $129.99. Next, there is the Runtastic Moment Basic: Similar to the Moment Fun, the Moment Basic has a larger display and is available in beige and black for $129.99. Then they have the Runtastic Moment Elite: Designed for a more sophisticated look, the Moment Elite offers a stainless steel case, scratch-resistant glass and a top-quality black leather band for $179.99. Finally, the Runtastic Moment Classic: With clean lines and a simplistic style, the Moment Classic offers a stainless steel case, scratch-resistant glass and a leather band – available in silver, gold and rose gold – for $179.99.
