Samsung has released four flagship devices this year. Back in March, this Korea-based smartphone OEM has released the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones, while they decided to release two flagship phablets last month. The company has launched the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus phablets. As it usually goes, Samsung tends to market their devices pretty heavily, especially their flagship offerings. We’ve already seen quite a few advertisements for each of these devices, and Samsung has decided to share three additional ads on their ‘Samsung Mobile USA’ official YouTube channel, read on.
Interestingly enough, all three of these commercials showcase features Apple’s iPhone doesn’t have. Samsung is basically trying to counter Apple’s ‘if it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone’ commercials by releasing their own set of ads which are aimed at the Cupertino giant. If you take a look at the videos below this article, you’ll get to see Samsung showcase wireless charging, Samsung Pay and dual-edge displays. The company actually took a direct shot at Apple in the Samsung Pay commercial, which I’m sure you’ll notice once you take a look at the video. Samsung has released these ads under the ‘it’s not a phone, it’s a Galaxy’ tagline. All three of these ads are only 30 seconds long, so check them out if you’re interested.
All of the flagship devices Samsung has released this year sport a metal unibody design, and are powered by the company’s 14nm Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor, which has proved to be a really, really powerful processor. The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is basically a larger variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge Samsung has unveiled earlier this year, and Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 really don’t need any further explanation at this point. It will surely going to be interesting to see how many of these devices Samsung managed to sell at the end of this year because we’ve heard mixed reports in the past. Sales apparently started of great but slowed down significantly after a while, at least as far as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones are concerned.
