Sony announced a range of new products this morning including three new smartphones as part of the Xperia Z5 family which are the Xperia Z5, the Xperia Z5 Compact, and the Xperia Z5 Premium. Sony also announced a brand new set of headphones at IFA this morning called the H.ear On headphones, a set of over ear, closed back cans meant to provide high quality sound for users who truly appreciate the benefits of great audio. They come in a range of different colors so for those who like attaching a customizable and personalized experience to just about everything, the colors options should excite you as the H.ear On headphones come in a lime yellow, charcoal black, cinnabar red, bordeaux pink, and viridian blue.
These headphones are meant to be paired with Sony’s Hi-Res audio as this according to Sony will allow users to experience the best sound quality possible and really get a feel for what these headphones can do. That doesn’t mean obviously that they won’t work with other types of audio files, and presumably if you’re spending $200 on a set of headphones, (which is what you’ll be spending if you want to pick these up since that’s the cost of them) you might want to listen to just about anything with them as even the worst audio tracks probably sound just a little bit better with a nice pair of headphones on.
They come in a foldable design for easy storage in your bag, and being of an over ear design consumers can expect the ear cups to be rather huge and like very comfortable to wear. Yet despite them likely being a fairly large set of headphones the Sony H.ear On’s only weigh about 8 ounces so they should still feel light. If you’re in need of a new pair of headphones and are wanting to spring for this pricey pair, Sony states you’ll be able to pick them up starting in November which isn’t too far out from now, and possibly only about a month after Sony launches the Xperia Z5 series of devices which is scheduled to go on sale next month.
