The Nexus 5X Pre-Orders Are Live Via The Google Store

Not too long ago this morning Google officially announced the two newest Nexus devices to hit the scene, the Huawei Nexus 6P and the LG Nexus 5X. Google had stated that both phones would begin shipping sometime in October but didn’t mention the exact release date for the phone. They did however mention the prices as well as where U.S. consumers would be able to pick up either device, which unsurprisingly happens to be on the Google Store. Earlier when Google announced that both phones would be purchasable from the Google Store along with their respective costs, the only details known were that pre-orders would be going live today at some point.

Pre-order links are now live on the Google store for anyone that wishes to pick up the Nexus 5X, which starts at $379.99 for the 16GB model, and $429.99 for the 32GB model. The phone can also be picked up in one of three colors which includes Black, White, and Ice Blue. This of course includes free shipping to anyone that buys the device, but along with a shiny new phone consumers who pre-order are also getting a couple of perks from Google to sweeten the deal for purchasing the phone early before the official release date.

Included in those perks is the free 90-day subscription to Play Music Unlimited which is normally a $10 a month subscription fee. It goes without saying of course once users go through that 90 days, they’ll have to begin paying the monthly cost to continue using the service. Additionally and perhaps being the better perk of the two, Google is giving those who pre-order the Nexus 5X a free $50 in Google Play credits which can be used for anything in the store from apps to games, to books, music and movie purchases. That alone should be enough to entice anyone who is on the fence about picking up the Nexus 5X. Alongside the device, consumers can also opt to purchase the Nexus Protect plan for an additional $69 which gets them 2 years protection from mechanical issues, and 2 years protection from damage with claims capable of being processed 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, while phones will be sent out as early as the next business day. If you’re looking to grab a Nexus 5X, you can do so now from the Google Store.
