Elephone has been mentioned quite frequently lately, this China-based company has managed to get the attention of both consumers and tech sites alike this year with the releases of P7000 and P8000 devices. Well, the company is planning to release quite a few additional goodies before the end of the year. The Elephone Vowney is a high-end device which has also been announced, and will be available soon. The ELE Watch will be Elephone’s first Android Wear-powered smartwatch, and it will arrive soon as well. And last, but not least, their P9000 line of devices which will consist out of 3 phones.
We’ve already talked about each of these products separately, but we do have some new info when it comes to the Elephone P9000, the company’s most powerful handset from the P9000 line. Elephone has confirmed that this phone will support 4G LTE bands in North America, which are great news from users from the US and Canada who find this phone appealing. The company has also sent us two new renders of the P9000 which you can check out in the gallery down below if you’re interested. If you’d like to take a closer look at the previously leaked P9000 images, click here.
The Elephone P9000 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The device will be powered by MediaTek’s P10 processor, and a 21-megapixel camera will be available on its back. You can also expect to find a Type-C USB port on the bottom of this phone, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Elephone has also confirmed that this handset, as well as the other two P9000 phones, will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed, which are great news. Elephone tends to keep their Android skin quite light, they do add some gesture goodies and a couple of apps on there, but nothing that would bog down the system. That’s pretty much it, Elephone P9000 is expected to launch pretty soon, and we’ll make sure to keep you in the loop, stay tuned.
