Global Pricing For Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P And Chromecast

Google has held their ‘Nexus’ event two days ago, and during the press conference, the company has announced two new Nexus handsets, the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P. Google has also announced two new Chromecasts and the Pixel C during the show, in case you’re interested. We’ve covered each of these devices at length during the last two days, but bits and pieces (of info) still keep on coming. That being said, some of you are probably interested to see how much each of these devices (except for Pixel C) costs in particular countries all around the globe, well, you’re in luck, read on.

The Nexus devices will be quite a bit more expensive in Europe than in the US. The 16 and 32GB variants of the Nexus 5X cost $379 and $429 in the US, while the two phones will cost $513+ and $573+ in Europe. The LG Nexus 5X will be somewhat more affordable in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and India (compared to Europe). As far as Nexus 6P goes, the situation is quite similar. The 32, 64 and 128GB variants of this phablet are priced at $499, $549 and $649 in the US, while they’ll cost $679+, $755+ and $876+ in Europe. The aforementioned Euro pricing is for the UK, the devices will be even more expensive in other parts of the continent. Let’s check out the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P specs real quick. These two devices sport the same 12.3-megapixel sensor on the back, and both are running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, but that’s pretty much where their similarities end. The Nexus 5X sports a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM and is powered by the Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core SoC. The Nexus 6P, on the other hand, features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) panel along with 3GB of RAM, and is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor.
