Google has unveiled the company’s new Nexus devices along with some additional hardware about a week ago. The company has also released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the new variant of the company’s mobile operating system. The LG Nexus 5X is the new Nexus smartphone, and the Huawei Nexus 6P is Google’s newest phablet. That being said, these two devices are already listed on the Google Play Stores all over the world (where available), and both of these devices are listed on India’s Play Store as well. Google did list these two devices in India a while back, but did not reveal their release date until now, read on.
Google has revealed that they’ll hold an event in India on October 13th in order to unveil new Nexus handsets. We still don’t know if Google intends to present the new Chromecast devices, and the Pixel C tablet, but we’ll find out soon enough. The company has already revealed the pricing of these two devices, the 16GB Nexus 5X will be priced at Rs. 31,900 ($485), while the 32GB model will cost Rs. 35,900 ($553). The Nexus 6P, on the other hand, will start at Rs. 39,999 (32GB model), and the other two variants (64 and 128GB ones) will cost Rs. 42,999 ($662) and Rs. 47,999 ($739), respectively.
The Nexus 5X sports a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of non-expandable internal storage. This phone is powered by the Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor, and a 2,700mAh battery is available on the inside. The Nexus 6P, on the other hand, features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 3GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of non-expandable internal storage. This phablet is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC, and ships with a 3,450mAh battery on the inside. Both of these phones feature a 12.3-megapixel rear-facing camera flanked by dual-LED, dual tone flash and a Laser Autofocus. On the front side of the device you’ll find the 5-megapixel camera when the Nexus 5X is concerned, and an 8-megapixel snapper when it comes to the Nexus 6P. That’s pretty much it, Google’s event is only six days away, so let’s wait and see what happens, stay tuned.
