HTC has had an interesting year in so far in 2015. At the start of the year, there was much fanfare and speculation surrounding their latest incoming flagship, the HTC One M9. However, that quickly changed with much of the excitement turning to dissatisfaction with many HTC owners not too taken with the look and specs of the One M9. More specifically, the lack of change that the device seemed to represent and by association, the company.
This led to months of speculation about HTC in general, with the company seeing sliding shares and profits. That said, the company are hosting a new event in a couple of weeks. One which will likely be bringing the rumored HTC One A9 and one in which HTC hopes will be able to turn the tide on what has been an unfortunate year for them until now. Just ahead of that event, it looks like HTC are promoting and offering the One M9 for a limited time, in pink.
The limited time coloring of the One M9 has been made available to raise awareness of Breast Cancer. As such, HTC is offering the One M9 in either a straight pink color or in “Pink with ribbon”. In terms of the price, it does not seem to matter which pink you opt for as they are both priced at $649. However, those who do purchase either color will be entitled to receive the $100 Google Play Store credit HTC has been offering previously with One M9 purchases. Not to mention, HTC are also throwing in a free pink Dot View Ice case as well. This totals a savings of $149.99 (case plus credit).
