Google has unveiled their new Nexus devices at the end of this month, along with a couple of additional devices. The LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P are Google’s newest smartphones, and have been all over the news every since they were announced. The Nexus 5X is Google’s new smartphone, and the higher-end Nexus 6P is the company’s new phablet. That being said, we have some new info when it comes to the availability of the Nexus 6P, at least as the US is concerned, read on.
If you take a look at the image below this article, you’ll get to see Sprint’s allegedly leaked flyer which reveals some Nexus 6P availability info. According to the flyer, Sprint’s customers will be able to seek activation for the device on October 14th, which means that the device might ship on October 13th. Furthermore, this flyer actually mentions October 26th as the release date for the Nexus 6P. Keep in mind that this info is not confirmed at this point, not by any stretch of the imagination. We also don’t have any Nexus 5X info at the moment. only Nexus 6P flyer has surfaced.
The Google Nexus 6P features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM and 32, 64 or 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. This device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel camera (1.55um pixel size) is available on the back of this device along with the dual-LED, dual tone flash and the Laser Autofocus. The 8-megapixel snapper can be found up front, and a 3,450mAh battery is also a part of this package. The Nexus 6P also sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, while Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on this device. This phablet measures 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3, while it weighs 178 grams.
That’s more or less it. It remains to be seen how accurate the info on this leaked flyer is, but in either case, the device might launch on Sprint really soon. We’ll know if the info is legit as early as tomorrow, so stay tuned for more info.
