Despite the handset doesn’t seem to include a fingerprint scanner, the company has promised that the device will be very secure thanks to all of the technologies developed exclusively by them, hence the name that makes reference to privacy. Other specs include a 5.4-inch QHD display, powering it up is a Snapdragon 808 processor and 2 GB of RAM. There’s an 18-megapixel main camera with OIS.
Since this phone has been leaked more frequently in recent times and it has even been certified by the Bluetooth SIG, we know that the launch of this device is not very far away. Rumor has it that it will launch sometime next month. Now, the alleged price for the BlackBerry PRIV has been leaked on China’s social network Weibo. The post only mentions that the price is 3,999 Chinese Yuan, which converts to approximately $630. This wouldn’t be entirely shocking as the specs are worthy of a flagship device, but this information cannot be confirmed at this moment, plus, pricing varies in each region. We still need to wait a little longer to confirm the specs and the official pricing information, and since this is a very strong bet from the company, the launch event could be a big one.
