Samsung Gear S2 Available in T-Mobile Stores on Nov. 15th

The Samsung Gear S2, which was announced at IFA back in September, is finally getting some confirmed availability for the carriers. At least here in the US. T-Mobile will be selling the new smartwatch from Samsung beginning on November 15th. No word yet on the Gear S2 Classic, so this might be just the regular Gear S2 that the Uncarrier is selling. The Gear S2 is a Tizen-powered smartwatch, but it works with just about every Android smartphone. A welcomed change over previous smartwatches from Samsung that were only compatible with Samsung devices.

T-Mobile will be selling the Gear S2 in dark gray and silver. Offering it for $0 down and $15 per month for 23 months and $14.99 that final (read: 24th) month. That brings the total price to $359.99. Of course, you’ll be able to buy the Gear S2 outright at full price, and it’ll cost you $359.99. About $60 more than the WiFi version that is available now. But that is primarily because of adding in the LTE radio, we’ve seen this type of price increase before with tablets. When jumping from a WiFi tablet to a cellular connected tablet.

Additionally, the Uncarrier will be offering the Gear S2 with the “best wearable plan in wireless”. Stating that customers can add the Gear S2 to their current smartphone plan, and that will cost them just $5/month. You’ll get unlimited talk, text and 500MB of 4G LTE data – throttled after that data cap is hit. And that is all directly from your wrist. Of course, being part of the Uncarrier means you get other features like unlimited 4G data, talk, and text in Canada in Mexico, Unlimited roaming data in over 140 countries as well as unlimited music streaming form over 31 services. Which include Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Google Play Music and many others.

November 15th is the day, that the Gear S2 will be available in both T-Mobile’s stores as well as their online store. So if you’re looking to pick up Samsung’s newest smartwatch, that is when you’ll be able to do so. Of course if you want to grab the WiFi model, you can do that now, and it’ll set you back around $299.
