Video: Hands on with the Motorola Droid Turbo 2

Today in New York City, Motorola and Verizon announced the Droid Turbo 2. The next iteration in the Droid line up. The Droid Turbo 2 is a high-end smartphone, with the specs we’d expect to see. Including a 5.4-inch 2560×1440 resolution AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM along with the choice of 32GB or 64GB of storage. There is also a microSD card slot and a 3760mAh battery to get it through two full days of usage. One of the features the Motorola is really touting here is the display. Why? Well because it’s shatter proof. Meaning you can drop it as hard as you want, it won’t shatter. That’s a pretty killer feature when you think about it.

The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will be available on October 29th in all of Verizon’s 1600 retail stores as well as on their website. The 32GB model will be going for $26 per month and the 64GB model will be $30 per month. Remember Verizon has ended contracts, so you’re going to be paying monthly for the device, or buying it outright. We got the chance to go hands on with the Droid Turbo 2 today at the launch event in NYC. Which you can check out that video down below.
