Video: Marshall London Review

It seems like everyone is making a smartphone these days, from famed softdrink maker Pepsi to any number of unknown manufacturers out of China, there’s certainly not much room for growth in the general market nowadays.  What do you do when the general market is flooded with products though?  Specialize, of course, and that’s exactly what acclaimed guitar amp manufacturer Marshall has done with its first smarthphone, the London.  The Marshall London is a smartphone that’s powered by a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor, Android Lollipop and 2GB of RAM.  While it retails for €550 the specs don’t necessarily seem up to the price, that is until you take a look at the audio equipment stuffed underneath that 4.7-inch 720p screen.

A high-end Cirrus Logic audio hub powers the sound output of the London and helps deliver clear, crisp audio through Bluetooth aptX or those dual 3.5mm headset jacks up top.  The London’s rubber build and unique metal volume wheel set it apart visually, and those stereo front-facing speakers are set to blow your ears off with their volume and clarity.  If you’re looking for some of the finest in audio in a smartphone you don’t have to look much further, but check out our video review below or the full written review to see if it’s your cup of tea.
