Google Play Gift Cards Land In Netherlands

Google keeps on expanding the reach of their products and services, including Google Gift Cards for the Google Play Store. Well, those of you who live in Netherlands will be glad to hear that the Google Play support page now shows 15€, 25€ and 50€ Gift Cards in Netherlands. So, if you were waiting for these gift cards to pop up in Netherlands, you’re in luck. Keep in mind that the supported retailers aren’t listed just yet though.

Alcatel One Touch Flash 2 Gets Unveiled In India For Rs. 9,299 ($143)

The Alcatel One Touch Flash 2 was announced in India quite recently. The device sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). The device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor running at 1.3GHz, while there are also two SIM card slots available here. The phone also sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing ISOCELL sensor, and ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The device is already available for sale for Rs. 9,299 ($143) exclusively from Flipkart.

Huawei Mate S Coming To Malaysia On October 27th

Huawei Mate S is Huawei’s latest high-end smartphone, and it seems like it will launch in Malaysia on October 27th. This device sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 935 octa-core SoC, while it has a 13-megapixel OIS camera on the back. The phone is made out of metal, and a 2,700mAh battery is included on the inside. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Huawei’s EMUI (Emotion UI) 3.1 skin on top of it.

Xiaomi’s Devices Are Now Somewhat More Expensive In Malaysia

The value of Malaysian Ringgit has been falling for a while now, and as the results of that, Xiaomi-branded products are now between 10 and 20% more expensive in the country. The Xiaomi Mi Note and Mi 4i will keep their price, but the rest of the company’s portfolio offered in the country will be more expensive. This includes Redmi 2, Mi Headphones, Mi Band and three variants of Xiaomi’s Mi Power Banks (5,000mAh, 10,400mAh and 16,000mAh ones).

Sharp Announces Yet Another Aquos Smartphone In Japan

Sharp has announced quite a few of their Aquos offerings in Japan, and a new mid-ranger has just landed, the Aquos SH-M02. This handset sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card). The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 400 quad-core SoC running at 1.2GHz, and a 13.1-megapixel camera is located on its back. The device offers 4G LTE connectivity, and is water and dust proof (IP5X/7 certification) The phone will be priced at $324).
