Google had a big event last month in which they introduced lots of hardware besides the official launch of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. They announced new Nexus devices, Chromecasts and even a premium tablet called the Pixel C. Of course, the two most anticipated devices were the Nexus 5X made by LG and the Nexus 6P made by Huawei, this being the first time that Google partnered with a Chinese manufacturer to build a Nexus phone. Both of these phones feature some hardware components that are now supported by Android 6.0 like the fingerprint scanner on their back and the new USB Type C port.
Pre-orders for both devices started a little after their official announcement, so those who decided to order one of these must be eagerly waiting for their devices. They would have received an estimated date for the arrival of their devices and it can be seen at the Google Store, but they might want to check periodically in case something changes, so here is how to do it. They can visit “My Account” in Google Play where their order history will be displayed. Even though Google separated the media content like music, videos, games, apps or books in Google Play from their devices and accessories (which can now be found in the Google Store), users can check both in the aforementioned section as both belong to the same account.
Some users might find an exact date while others might see an estimated time-frame before their devices leave the warehouse, so they should get them shortly after. Apparently, those who ordered minutes after the site went live will be to see their devices around October 27th. While those who ordered a few days later will get them at the beginning of November. The estimated time-frame on when the devices will leave the warehouse usually match the estimated date of arrival, but some users are concerned about the ambiguity of this time-frame, as it might add another week. Either way, it is worth keeping an eye on your account for any update on shipping. That is, if you have ordered either device.
