Xiaomi has released a number of handsets this year, and the latest ones they announced are the Redmi Note 2 and Xiaomi Mi 4c smartphones. The Mi 4c is actually a variant of the Mi 4i device which has arrived earlier this, a more powerful variant that is. The Xiaomi Mi 4c is powered by the Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor, and it ships in both 2GB and 3GB of RAM variants. The Redmi Note 2, on the other hand, is also a quite compelling device, and it belongs in the mid-range category. The Redmi Note 2 was announced back in August, and it seems like the sales are going as planned, at least according to the company’s CEO.
Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, has released some sales numbers along with sales expectations for the Redmi Note 2 smartphone. The company’s CEO said that the company managed to sell 800,000 units of Redmi Note 2 handset back on September 5th, and now he added that the sales numbers reached 1.5 million units on September 5th, and 2.15 million on September 14th. This is actually Xiaomi’s record, and it seems like the company is confident those numbers will rise significantly in the coming months. The company is aiming to sell 10 million Redmi Note 2 units, which is actually quite possible considering they were able to hit 2.15 million units in only one month. The phone’s pricing starts at 799 Yuan ($126) in China, and the device is available in White, Yellow, Blue, Pink and Mint Green color options.
