Jonathan Adler Designed Moto X Pure now up for Pre-Order

Motorola announced a few weeks ago, that the company had partnered up with designer, Jonathan Adler and would be selling a few limited edition designs of the Moto X Pure Edition. And of course, they are US only. Those limited edition Moto X Pure Edition models are now up for pre-order from Motorola’s website. There are three designs here, and they are not available through Moto Maker unfortunately. Also, you’re stuck with just the 32GB model. So there’s no option to get 16GB and pay a bit less, or pay a bit more for the 64GB model. However, the 32GB is a nice sweet spot for most users. Especially since the Moto X Pure Edition does feature a microSD card slot.

These three designs do look pretty unique, and they are bound to look even better in person, than just on Motorola’s website. You can pre-order them today for $474.99. That’s just $25 more than the normal price of a 32GB Moto X Pure Edition. Not a bad price, since this is basically the same as getting a Leather or Wood back, at least price wise. These are slated to ship around December 15th. Although they may ship earlier, as Motorola likes to under-promise and over-deliver. Not a bad thing at all, especially if issues do arise.

Specs of this limited edition Moto X Pure Edition are the same as the model you’d get in Moto Maker. That includes the same 5.7-inch 2560×1440 resolution LCD display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There’s also the 21MP Sony sensor on the back of the Moto X Pure Edition, which isn’t the best camera, but it is pretty darn good. There’s also a non-removable 3000mAh battery inside the Moto X Pure Edition, which should be enough to keep you going all day long.

You can pre-order any of the three Jonathan Adler designed Moto X Pure Edition’s today, by heading over to Motorola’s site. So now you have the choice of the silicon backs that come standard with the Moto X Pure, Leather or Wood, or these limited edition designs. Motorola hasn’t stated how long they’ll be around.
