Black Friday is just two days away and legions of shoppers across the country are likely gearing up to steel themselves for the occasion. Retailers are also preparing by listing all of their available deals. Verizon Wireless has already listed the deals they’ll have on offer for the day which include a number of different phones, but LG has seen fit to provide customers with a little extra incentive to consider purchasing a new LG device from Verizon over other brands. Money talks, and LG is offering a $100 rebate to consumers who pick up either the LG V10 or LG G4 smartphone from Verizon.
The rebate on its own would be a generally good deal, but the even better news for Verizon subscribers is that the rebate can be used in conjunction with the other deals Verizon has going on for Black Friday. Verizon themselves are already offering the LG V10 and G4 for $100 off, which means subscribers will end up saving a total of $200 per device purchase between LG and Verizon. In addition to this, those who are switching from another carrier still have the option to trade in their old phone and potentially get $300 from Verizon’s trade-in offer, making the phones almost free after all the discounts and rebates.
There are a couple of caveats to LG’s offer if you’re looking to get the most out of the holiday shopping season, and the first and most obvious is that you’ll need to grab your phones during the Black Friday promotion at Verizon to get the carrier deals. If you want the LG rebate for $100, so long as you purchase the phone before Christmas Day, which you’ll be doing if you pick up devices this Friday, you simply have to register the purchase by January 8th, 2016 at LG’s rebate site for the promotion and LG will end up sending you out a $100 prepaid gift card. That ‘s a lot of potential savings, which should feel pretty good after all the spending you could be doing on gifts this holiday season. If you plan on picking either of the LG devices up, you won’t be able to register the purchase until Monday, November 30th.
