Samsung has released a number of ‘Galaxy’ devices this year, including the company’s four flagship devices. This Korea-based tech giant has also rolled out their 2nd-gen Galaxy A3 and A5 mid-rangers quite recently, the devices have been announced in India a couple of days ago. Before they were announced both of those phones have popped up on Zauba, India’s import / export database. Well, the same thing has just happened with the Galaxy A9 handset, it has surfaced on Zauba, read on.

The Samsung SM-A9000 aka Galaxy A9 has surfaced on Zauba, as you can see in the listing down below. The phone has been imported into the country through Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi from South Korea, its homeland. The import prices actually range between Rs. 13,201 and 19,801, but this is not an indication of the phone’s final price, of course. The device will cost around Rs. 35,000 in India once Samsung announces it.

According to earlier rumors, the Galaxy A9 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Zauba’s listing, however, suggests that the device might actually sport a 6-inch display, not the 5.5-inch panel that was leaked earlier. This makes sense considering the Galaxy A8 sports a 5.7-inch panel. We cannot be sure at the moment though, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Anyhow, the device is said to be fueled by the Snapdragon 620 SoC, and you can also expect Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to come pre-installed on this phablet. Samsung’s TouchWiz UI will, of course, come installed on top of Google’s operating system, as always. We still don’t have any info when it comes to this phone’s camera, but a 13-megapixel snapper is quite probably going to be included in here, and the device will be made out of metal. The physical home button will be present below the display, but it remains to be seen if it will double as a fingerprint scanner. That is more or less it, the phone will quite probably launch in India in the coming weeks, and we’ll make sure to let you know when that happens, so stay tuned.
