10. YU Yureka (Plus) / Yuphoria
YU is a very young company owned by Micromax. This smartphone manufacturer has released four smartphones thus far, and their flagship will be launched in the coming weeks. The YU Yureka (Plus) and Yuphoria are all great options considering they’re very affordable and have a lot to offer for the price. Even the Yunique is a great option for those of you who are looking to spend even less on a smartphone.
9. Sony Xperia Z5 Dual / Z5 Premium Dual
Sony’s new flagships, the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Premium are now available in India. Both of these handsets sport two SIM card slots in India, and have a lot to offer. The 23-megapixel shooter included in these devices is great, and the overall specs are commendable as well. The ‘Premium’ model ships with a 4K display, and is the first smartphone to sport such a panel out in the market. The two devices are quite pricey though, so keep that in mind.
8. Meizu MX5
Meizu MX5 might not be Meizu’s latest flagship (the PRO 5 is not available in India just yet), but certainly is worth the money. This handset sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera. The handset is made out of metal, and is all around a great device. Android 5.0.1 Lollipop comes out of the box, and Meizu’s Flyme UI is available on top of it.
7. LG G4
The LG G4 is LG’s flagship for this year, well, one of them. The LG V10 was announced recently, and sports a somewhat higher specs than the G4, but the V10 is a phablet device and sports an odd dual-screen concept. Anyhow, the G4 has been available in India for quite some time now, and even though it’s not exactly the cheapest flagship around, many would argue that it’s worth the asking price.
6. Google Nexus 5X
The LG Nexus 5X is one of two Nexus device Google introduced this year. This is the lower-end Nexus smartphone, but it certainly belongs on this list. The phone sports a great camera, solid specs, and ships with the latest version of Android. The Nexus 5X is somewhat more expensive in India than it is in the US, but that was to be expected.
5. Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge / S6 Edge Plus
Samsung has announced two flagship smartphones and two flagship phablets this year. Well, the first three are listed here, and are according to many people amongst the best devices in the world at the moment. The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge might sport a different design, but they have an almost identical set of specs. The S6 Edge Plus is basically an oversized version of the S6 Edge, which is why all of them are listed under the same category, sort of.
4. OnePlus 2
The OnePlus 2 is one of the best buy devices out in the market at the moment, presuming you’re looking for a flagship phone. This handset sports 4GB of RAM, is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 SoC, and has lots to offer in other areas as well. OnePlus 2 ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed with OnePlus’ Oxygen OS available on top of Google’s operating system. The device is available in India, but you’ll need an invite in order to buy it.
3. Motorola Moto X Style
The Moto X Style is Motorola’s highest-end smartphone to date. This handset was announced earlier this year, and considering its spec sheet, it’s rather affordable. The Moto X Style hasn’t been available in India for long, but is definitely something to consider if you’re looking for a flagship phablet. The Moto X Style ships with 3GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch QHD display, and a very sleek overall design.
2. Samsung Galaxy Note 5
The Galaxy Note 5 is one of Samsung’s flagship phablets for 2015. This handset is powered by the Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core SoC, sports 4GB of RAM and is made out of metal. You also get the company’s S Pen stylus along with it, which opens up a number of additional software features here. The Galaxy Note 5 is one of the best-specced phones out in the market at the moment, and it’s quite pricey pretty much everywhere, India included.

The Nexus 6P is Google’s flagship Nexus device at the moment. This is a 5.7-inch phablet made out of metal, which sports top of the line specifications and one of the best cameras in the market at the moment. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC, sports 3GB of RAM and ships with a fingerprint scanner as well.
