Vivo's X6 Flagship Certified By TENAA, 4GB Of RAM In Tow

Vivo’s upcoming X6 flagship has been mentioned a number of times in the last couple of weeks. The company has released a couple of teasers lately confirming that the device will sport a fingerprint scanner, and that it will ship with 4GB of RAM. One of the leaks suggested that the device will be available in Silver, Black, Gray, Pink and Gold color options. To make things even more interesting, the device has received 3C Certification in China, which suggested we might see it pop up on TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) soon. Well, that has just happened, read on.

The Vivo X6 has been certified by TENAA in China, which basically revealed the design of this handset, but the listing doesn’t reveal the phone’s specifications, unfortunately. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the Vivo X6 up close and personal. The device is made out of metal, and it sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. There are three capacitive buttons below the display, and Vivo’s logo is present both on the front, and back of this smartphone. The phone’s camera protrudes on the back a little bit, and both the physical power / lock and volume rocker buttons are located on the right-hand side of this device, while the SIM card tray can be found on the left-hand side of this phone.

TENAA didn’t share Vivo X6’s specifications, but we’ve seen a number of leaks lately. According to those leaks, the device might ship with a 6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display which will feature Force Touch technology. MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core SoC has also been mentioned, and 4GB of RAM will come pre-installed here. One of the leaks claimed that 1GB of RAM will be reserved for the phone’s GPU, and you can also expect to see a 4,000mAh battery on the inside. The 21-megapixel camera might appear on the back of the Vivo X6, and a 13-megapixel snapper is said to be located up front. Leaks have also mentioned that the device will ship with 32GB of RAM, and you can expect Android Lollipop to come pre-installed here, unless Vivo surprises us and Marshmallow arrives out of the box. Either way, stay tuned for more info.
