Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro has been surfacing all over the internet recently. Xiaomi Mi 5 is quite probably the company’s most anticipated device at the moment, but the Redmi Note 2 Pro will quite probably launch before the company’s long-awaited flagship. The Redmi Note 2 Pro is said to become the first metal-clad smartphone in the company’s ‘Redmi’ series of devices. Following a number of leaks and rumors, the Redmi Note 2 Pro was certified by TENAA quite recently, and now we have yet another leak of the device, read on.
If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the back cover of the upcoming Redmi Note 2 Pro handset. This back cover basically confirms all the leaks we’ve seen thus far, you can clearly see cutouts for camera, dual-LED flash, and the fingerprint scanner. The phone will sport a rear-facing loudspeaker, and it will be located on the bottom, below the Xiaomi branding. That is all the leaked material we have to show you at the moment, but the real life image of this phone might surface before Xiaomi officially announces the device, and that will happen soon enough.
Now, according to TENAA, the Redmi Note 2 Pro will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. MediaTek’s Helio X10 (MT6795) 64-bit octa-core SoC will fuel this smartphone, and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop is expected to come pre-installed here with Xiaomi’s MIUI OS on top of it. The 13-megapixel camera will be available on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be located up front. According to TENAA’s listing, the Redmi Note 2 Pro will measure 149.9 x 75.9 x 8.75mm, while it will weight 166 grams.
According to some previous leaks, the Redmi Note 2 Pro will cost around 1,099 Yuan ($172) in China. We still don’t know when will Xiaomi unveil this smartphone, but considering it has already been certified, you can expect it to arrive in the next couple of weeks.
