Chromecast Owners Get 2 Months Free CBS All Access From Dec 26

We are right in the middle of deal season and so far, there has been plenty of deals to go around. In fact, if you are someone who has been thinking about picking up a Chromecast during the Holiday season, then there has been plenty of deals for you too. In the first few days of December, Google started offering two Chromecasts for $55. Which is significantly cheaper than buying them separately with each Chromecast costing about $35. Following this and much more recently, Google started offering consumers $20 Play Store if they pick up a Chromecast. All you have to do to get the credit is buy one and register it by January 2nd. And again, when factoring in that the device costs $35, a $20 credit, makes it quite the deal.

Well, the deals are not quite finished yet for Chromecast owners (or potential buyers). In addition to the various perks on offer to actually make you buy one, once you do buy one, you are entitled to a number of freebies. Sometimes, these come in the form of a free movie rental through Play Movies & TV or a small Play Store credit note and sometimes these come in the form of an extended subscription. The latest of which is now being reported to be a two month free subscription to CBS All Access.

Under normal circumstances, the CBS All Access service is available on a one week trial basis. Following this, you are liable for a $5.99 per month charge to maintain the service. However, it is now being reported that from December 26th, those who have purchased a Chromecast will be able to sign up for an extended free two month trial service. Those interested will still need to add their credit card details to activate the two months free service, so if you are only interested in the free element, then it is one of those ‘cancel before you pay’ type deals. Either way, if you own a Chromecast (Chromecast Audio reportedly does not apply), then you should start to see the promo being advertised within the Chromecast app in the coming days.
