The New Year is right around the corner, literally. One of the most popular New Years Resolutions is to get healthy, get in shape, become more active, etc. So we’re here to help you get started. Who says you have to wait until January 1st to start getting in shape? We’ve got 10 fitness and activity trackers here that are great for you to choose from.

Fitbit Flex

The Fitbit Flex is a great activity tracker to get started with, coming in at under $100 it can track your steps, calories, and even your sleep. It’s a great way to motivate yourself to be more active each and every day. It can track your sleep and see how well you’re sleeping or not sleeping. One of the great features of the Flex is the ability to change the band easily, as there are tons of colors available.

Fitbit Charge HR

For those looking for a slightly more advanced fitness tracker, the Charge HR is another great choice. It does everything that the Flex (above) can do, but it can also track your heart rate. Good for seeing how you’re doing during your workouts, especially when doing cardio. It also has a LED display that can show the time as well as your stats.

Jawbone UP Move

Jawbone also has a few fitness trackers, including the UP Move. Which essentially a fitness tracker that can clip onto your waist of your pants and track your steps. However, that’s about all it tracks. Unfortunately, it cannot track your workouts, like the Fitbit Charge HR. But it can track your sleep (although you’ll have to hold it at night to do so).

Jawbone UP3

Need a bit more than what the UP Move features? The UP3 is also a fitness tracker that you can wear on your wrist which can track your heart rate as well as your activity and sleep. Allowing you to track your sleep as well as your activity for each day. Making it very important for those looking to be more active.

Misfit Flash

The Misfit Flash is probably one of the cheapest fitness trackers around. It looks like a watch, but it actually isn’t. It features an array of LED indicators which then light up to show you how close you are to your goal for the day. It can track your steps, the calories you burn as well as your sleeping.

Garmin has also come out with a few fitness trackers, including the Vivofit 2. Now, like the other trackers on this list, the Vivofit 2 can track your steps, as well as calories burned, your workouts and also your sleep schedule. But it also has built-in GPS and navigation. This is helpful for tracking your runs and such.

Microsoft Band 2

The Microsoft Band 2 is rather unique. Like the others here, it can track your activity and calories you burn during the day as well as your sleep. But it can also track your workout. Whether that be lifting weights, doing cardio, or whatever the case may be. It can also help you improve your golf swing, which can be very helpful.

Misfit Link

The Misfit Link is another great wearable for tracking your activity. It’s much like the Jawbone UP Move, where it clips onto your waist, or can sit in your pocket and collect your steps. Unfortunately it cannot be worn on your wrist. Therefore it’s tracking of your sleep may not be as perfect as you’d expect.

Samsung Gear Fit

It may be a bit old, but it’s still a great smartwatch for tracking your activity. The Gear Fit has a curved display, which looks fantastic on your wrist. It can also track your calories burned as well as your activity. However it will need to be charged each and every night. Additionally, it has a full color display.

Huawei Watch

While it’s not technically a fitness tracker, the Huawei Watch (and other Android Wear smartwatches) can track your steps and such using Google Fit. And in addition to that you can also get your notifications on your wrist. Very helpful for those that don’t want to keep pulling their phones out to check their notifications.
