Holiday season is upon us, and as it’s usually the case, we’ll get to see a number of discounts in the coming days, tech world included. Now, we’ve reported yesterday that Google has discounted a number of games on the Google Play Store, including Goat Simulator MMO, Star Wars Pinball 3, Anomaly Warzone Earth HD, Hitman: Sniper, Hitman Go, Lara Croft Go, and a number more titles. Well, if you’ve been looking to add some music to your collection, Google is now offering you a way to do that as well for less cash, read on.
The Mountain View giant is actually offering you a 50% discount on any album of your choosing. Now, this might not be a huge deal, but if you’ve been looking to purchase a particular album, and thought it was too expensive, well, you can now purchase it for half-off. This discount can be used for basically any album that is available in the music section of the Google Play. Now, some of you might think this is a U.S. exclusive considering Google tends to do that, but it’s not. If you live in any of the following countries you can take advantage of this discount: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Mexico, Russia, the U.S. and the UK. Unfortunately, this deal is still limited to only specific regions, as you can see, but at least it’s not a U.S. exclusive. Those of you who have access to Google Play Music and don’t live in any of the listed countries, we do hope that Google will have something to offer you in this regard soon as well. Now, keep in mind that you can take advantage of this deal until January 4th, if you don’t purchase something until then, the discount won’t be valid any longer.
There you have it. Google has discounted a number of games on the Google Play, and the time has come for music as well. We do wonder if the company intends on offering any additional deal during the holiday season or if this is it. Well, I guess we’ll find out in the coming days, Christmas is right around the corner.
