If you have been over to Google Play recently, then you might have noticed that Google is a fan of the Holidays. Over the last few days and weeks the company has been releasing a number of promos for Android users to take advantage of the various Google media services. For instance, one of the latest is that all Google account holders can make use of a ‘buy an album for half price’ code. While if you are more interested in movies, then Google also is currently offering account holders a 75-percent off code for any movie rented from Google Play.
Adding to the ever-growing list of current Google promotions, the company is also now offering a discount for Play Music subscriptions. This is Google’s on-demand music streaming service and one which will currently set you back $9.99 per month. Although, Google did recently introduced a family package which means you and five of your household members can enjoy the service together for one $14.99 per month fee. However, the new promo is one we have seen come round before and allows users to make use of the service for three-months for only $1, instead of the typical one month trial period and then two billed months at $9.99. So this is quite the saving.
The only catch however is that you do need to be a new Play Music subscriber to take advantage of the deal. This is typically common when this deal comes around, although right now it makes more sense than ever. With a number of consumers likely to be giving or receiving Android devices over Christmas, offering a reduction for a subscriber service such as Play Music is probably a good way to introduce new Android device owners to the service and maybe even manage to keep them subscribing once the three-month period has ended. Either way, for anyone who has not tested out the service yet, this is a good time to do so. Especially, as the Play Music subscription will also allow you to check out YouTube Red for the three months as well. Head over through the source link below to subscribe.
