Google Pixel C Now Available From The Google Store

Back at Google’s annual Nexus event which took place a couple of months ago, the company announced a number of new products including the highly coveted Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X. However, they were not the only products that the company announced and along with the smartphones, the company also introduced a new tablet in the form of the Google Pixel C. Although, this was no ordinary tablet as it looked to more closely bridge the gap between a tablet and a laptop.

Since its introduction though, Google has remained a little tight-lipped on the Pixel C and more importantly when the device would become available. Although, in the past week or so reports did begin to come in suggesting that the Pixel C would likely see its release this week and this seemed to be further confirmed when the device popped up on various benchmark sites a few days ago. Well, Google has today made the Pixel C officially available and it is now open to buy directly from the Google Store. In terms of the price, the Pixel C is listed as starting from $499.

In terms of the specs, the Pixel C comes equipped with a 10.2-inch display, which makes use of a 2560 x 1800 resolution. Inside, the Pixel C comes loaded with 3GB RAM and is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor. Additional features on offer include a Type-C USB port, while the device comes running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. There are two variants of the Pixel C now available and they only majorly differ in terms of the storage. If you are after the smaller storage option which comes with 32GB internal storage, then this is the model which will set you back $499. If you would prefer a greater level of storage, then there is also a 64GB model which will cost you $100 more with the price coming in at $599.99.
