The LG G5 is definitely one of the most anticipated devices of next year, and we did see some rumors and leaks when it comes to this handset already. The biggest leak popped up yesterday actually, a user on Reddit shared the first LG G5 image we’ve seen which showed us the phone’s camera sensors as well as the rear-facing physical buttons, while some more detailed info about the device has also been mentioned. Now, the design of the device was covered by some sort of a protective black sheet, and the image captured a quite specific part of the LG G5, so we didn’t get to see the whole device. Well, a new leak has surfaced today, and this time around we do get to see the whole back side of the phone, read on.
If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the LG G5 in the flesh. This is the allegedly upcoming device, and even though we do get to see only the back side of the phone, this image reveals quite a bit more than the one we’ve seen yesterday. It seems like the phone will be made out of metal, and that its rear-facing camera sensors (and flash) will protrude ever so slightly. The phone will be curved on the edges, which should offer a better grip, though we do hope that the device won’t be all that slippery. LG’s logo is placed in the middle of the phone’s back cover, and you can also see antennas here.
Now, this leaked image is not the only piece of info that surfaced. If you take a look at the second image in the gallery down below, you’ll get to see LG G5’s leaked specifications as well. These specs more or less confirm yesterday’s info. According to the available information, LG G5 will feature a 5.29-inch QHD (2560 x 1440, 640 dpi) display along with 3GB of RAM. The 16 and 8-megapixel snappers will be available on the phone’s back, and a single 8-megapixel shooter will be placed up front. This leak doesn’t exactly mention the Snapdragon 820 SoC, but it does mention the Adreno 530 GPU which is packed in with the Snapdragon 820.
