Letv is a well-known Chinese company who has entered the smartphone world earlier this year when they announced three new devices (their first smartphones). Letv has announced Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max handsets, all of which have been rather well received by consumers, at least judging by Letv’s sales number. Anyhow, the company has already teased the arrival of their Snapdragon 820-powered device, though Letv didn’t want to elaborate on that. Well, a Snapdragon 820-powered Letv-branded handset has just popped up on AnTuTu, read on.
The Letv Max Pro (X910) has been listed on AnTuTu, and by the looks of it, this might be either the Letv Le 2 Pro or Le Max, though it is possible the ‘Max Pro’ might be its name. Anyhow, the listing says that the device will sport a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC will fuel this phone along with an Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The 21-megapixel snapper will be available on the back of this device, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be located up front. Now, the listing says it will be a 4-megapixel shooter, but unless Letv intends on using the UltraPixel camera (which is unlikely), this will be a 5-megapixel snapper. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this handset, and Letv’s UI will be available on top of it.
Now, we still don’t know when will this phone going to be announced, but it will most probably land in Q1 2016, perhaps as soon as January. The company’s first smartphones were rather compelling, they were well-built and sported really nice specifications. We do hope that the upcoming Letv handset will improve upon the original phones. You can expect this smartphone to be made out of metal, and it will probably resemble its predecessor(s) quite a bit. Letv is one of the fastest growing China-based smartphone manufacturers, and the company has recently actually launched their online store in the US. Their smartphones are still not available for purchase there, but that might change in the near future. Either way, stay tuned for additional info.
