Netflix announced earlier today that they would be making parent’s lives easier by letting them celebrate New Year’s Eve with their kids early through a series of six different countdown shows that can be accessed and streamed at any time on December 31st, but for those who want to celebrate their own countdown in a different way, there’s the Times Square Official Ball App which lets you put a virtual countdown to 2016 on your device’s display, so even if you aren’t able to watch the ball drop on TV you can still be a part of the celebration.
