Ulefone one of the less-known China-based smartphone manufacturing companies, but some of you might have heard of this company thus far. Ulefone has released a number of devices to date, like the Ulefone Be One and Be Touch 2 we’ve reviewed a while back. Wel, the company is now back with yet another device, the Ulefone Power. This handset was just announced by Ulefone, so let’s see what it has to offer, shall we.
The Ulefone Power can be considered a mid-range device, and its main selling point is that huge battery on the inside. The Ulefone Power packs in a 6,050mAh unit on the inside, which should provide more than enough battery life. The device features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) LTPS AUO 2.5D curved display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it. The phone ships with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone along with a Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel shooter (Sony’s IMX214 sensor, f/1.8 aperture) is located on the back of this phone, and next to it, you’ll find a dual-LED flash. The 5-megapixel snapper (OmniVision’s OV5648 sensor) is placed on the front side of this device, and there are also two SIM card slots available here.
Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this handset (Marshmallow coming in February), and you also get Quick Charging capabilities here (9V/2A-3A). The fingerprint scanner is also a part of this package, and it is located below the camera on the back of the device. The Ulefone Power measures 155 x 77 x 9.5, while it weighs 190 grams. It is also worth mentioning that you’ll get 4G LTE capability here, FDD-LTE: 800/900/1800/2100/2600 (bands 1, 3, 7, 8 and 20). That is pretty much it as far as the specifications are concerned, and in case you’d like to check out the design of this smartphone, take a look at the gallery down below. As you can see, the phone will be available in three color variants (Dark Blue, Wooden, Silver White), while we still don’t know how much will it cost, stay tuned.
