Bank Of America Enhances Mobile Experience With New Features

Bank of America is one of the largest banks across the U.S. with banks located just about everywhere and solutions for both those that want to bank online or through their mobile device via an installable application, and earlier this morning they announced a handful of changes coming to their mobile banking experience which enhances the usability for the 19 million customers which use BofA’s mobile banking services. This series of changes and improvements is a move made by Bank of America to help those who bank with their institution “take better control of their finances,” which ultimately should mean an overall better experience banking with BofA.

To start, Bank of America is invested in helping their customers find the solutions to their problems and getting the answers to their questions. To help facilitate this, they have taken their financial centers and are now using them to act as a one-stop destination for customers to ask questions and get everything they need in response, this way they can ask anything and get an answer back. These also act as a place where customers can get advice on banking related situations, and BofA states that in total they have 3,800 specialists on hand to help customers.

In addition to the financial center improvements, Bank of America is planning to invest three times as much into the advancements of online and mobile banking to further improve the experience for its customers. Other recent additions to the mobile banking experience include the ability for customers to easily lock and unlock their credit and debit cards, and they can receive two-way fraud email alerts with the ability to respond by email and initiate appropriate action. Mobile banking now also has a specific and easy to access location for managing the settings of a customers’ credit and debit cards, so whether or not they need to activate a card, replace a card, or set withdrawal limits, all of this can be done from this new centralized place. Also recently added, customers are able to save and continue deposit applications from the mobile app, and Bank of America is sending out free FICO credit scores to all consumer credit card customers through the first half of 2016.
