BlackBerry Offering Free Accessories With PRIV Purchase

With the year now here, many consumers might be considering what device they plan to buy or to upgrade to in 2016. In fact, in a few weeks time, MWC will be taking place in Barcelona and it is expected that a number of new handsets including the latest Galaxy S smartphone from Samsung will be unveiled. While some will be holding out to see what comes from MWC, the benefit of right now is that there is typically a number of sales taking place for some of the already leading handsets. Earlier today, Motorola announced a sale which spans Valentine’s Day and sees deals on the Moto G, Moto X and the Moto 360 smartwatch. Following which, BlackBerry has also now today announced a new deal on their debut Android smartphone, the BlackBerry PRIV.

To be clear, BlackBerry has announced a number of deals on their handsets, however, as the PRIV is the only Android running handset from BlackBerry, this is the only Android-related deal on offer. And for those hoping for a price cut on the handset, that is not on the cards. Instead, BlackBerry has opted to offer some accessories along with purchases of the handset during the next few weeks.

In terms of the deal, by picking up the PRIV, users can expect to benefit from receiving a black Leather Smart Flip Case, as well as a Sync Pod with a 1.2m USB cable. Accessories which are said to come to a grand total of $99. So while this is not exactly a reduction in the price of the handset, it is still $100 worth of accessories for free. Which is certainly better than nothing and especially for those who may have considered picking up some accessories anyway. For those interested, the deal is now live and will run until February 24th where it will come to an end at 11.59pm PST. So no major rush with this deal as it is live for almost a full month. For those wondering, the price of the PRIV through BlackBerry is currently $699. You can find out more about the PRIV promotion by heading through the source link below.
