Apps are the cornerstone of the smartphone experience for many of us and more apps continue to flood the play store on a daily basis. With so many new applications out there each month there are lots of new apps to try out offering various different functions and features, from alarm apps to picture editors. Kicking off this list is a pretty straightforward offering. If you’ve got a VR viewer, and even if you don’t as the app supports 360 video, Goosebumps VR lets you experience a spooky car chase while trying to escape from a giant praying mantis. If you’re a fan of NBC programming then NBC’s official Seeso app is a must have on your device. It offers up tons of clips and full episodes of some of NBC’s most popular shows from Jimmy Fallon to 30 Rock. It costs $3.99 a month, but is ad-free and you can stream all the video you want.

Roomi is the new digital way to search for a roommate. It’s got a wide variety of different recipes included in the app and users can pick out the ones they like best each week, and HelloFresh will deliver the fresh ingredients to your front door. You still have to prepare the meals, of course, but you won’t have to hunt down the ingredients at the supermarket.
